I have a 4" wide Chinese Pistachio tree planted in late Oct. How much superthrive drops of oz's to 5 gallons each month. Located in Dallas Texas. Thank you -Scott Brekenfeld

TREES: 1 fluid ounce per 5 gallons. ROSES and tender plants: One fl. oz. per 20 gallons. BALL and BURLAP trees and shrubs can be soaked, until air bubbles out, in 1 fl. oz. per 5 gallons water. REVIVING TREES and SHRUBS: 20 fl. oz. per 100 gallons, (Rarely, up to 2 fl. oz. per gal). Once. Then 3 fl. oz. per 100 gallons, from time to time. I took this directly from the Super Thrive website. I have used superthrive and have loved the results. But unfortunately have little experience with Pistachio trees 1 fluid ounce = 30 milliliters = one shot glass. Look at these results. http://www.superthrive.com/guiness.html -Greners Staff

how often do you use this product -louisa crosby

You can use it every day in light doses, one drop per gallon, or weekly using a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. -Greners Staff

How can use this on a lawn? Or can I? -sharon

Superthrive can be used on ANYTHING and always with astounding results. For lawn application you can add 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water to a handheld sprayer, watering pot or even just a bucket. A little goes a VERY long way, and a teaspoon mixed with water in a traditional hose-end lawn sprayer like those sold with MiracleGrow should be sufficient. (Make sure the tub is clean!) Superthrive also recommends a flood method on damaged lawns, mixing buckets worth of the solution and gently dumping into afflicted areas to assure good root saturation. -Greners Staff

Can I use Supethrive in avocado, lemons and mangoes tree? -Dr. Arnaldo

Yes, superthrive is wonderful for trees and used in many commercial orchards to increase nutrient uptake and growth rates. When Using it on my trees, I will mix 5-10 gallons of it at a .5ml/gallon ratio , and simply flood the root zone (directly beneath the canopy) with it. For trees that have suffered such severe compaction in the root zone that water pools and does not easily saturate the ground, I use a vertical mulching method where I will drill 1/2 holes in a 12" x 12" grid and add biological amendments like compost teas and mycorrhizae to help increase soil aeration. I will do this twice, then apply my Superthrive mixture. Superthrive can also be use as a foliar spray, but can cause leaf curling even if used at the recommended dosage. I suggest a light mix of 1ml/5gal. Use of a wetting agent such as natural non-concentrated dish soap or yucca extract helps. I recommend doing this at dusk and focusing on the bottom sides of leaves, and it should not be done more than once every six weeks. -Greners Staff
