Great value tent. Thick black canvas exterior. Highly reflective silver interior. Heavy-duty zippers. Metal framing is made of strong and durable steel tubing. 4' x 4' and 4' x 8' models have zippered doors in the back for easy access on both sides of the Sun Hut. Venting and cord holes offer sleeves with draw strings to seal the exit ports around ducting and cords. Bracket to support exhaust fan and filter.
Why white tents? Whit is a bit less reflective. That is right. But if you know the theory of the limiting factor, then you will understand that in a normal box setup, the limiting factor in most cases is not the light anyway. An extra amount of light does nothing. You might know that too much heat more often is a limiting factor, especially in grow boxes. Also, the plain white surface is much better to clean. In the "hammered" surface, more bacterias, fungi, etc can be sitting and are much harder to get rid of. The Homebox material is by far the strongest and thickest. Test it yourself. At Homebox we pride ourselves to check what the grower really needs, and not implement any thing that might look nice at first glance but does not give any added value at all.

Repair Kit Every tent we sell includes a repair kit (free of charge) with heavy duty black tape for the outside and reflective aluminum tape for the inside.
Equipment Setup
If you are going to use a grow tent as a clean environment to protect a room and not fully seal it then you don't have be as concerned about air flow through the tent. If you will keep your tent fully sealed it is going to be important to do all the proper ventilation.
Air movement fan - Match the CFM rating of the inline fan to the cubic feet of your room. For example with the GL145, the tent is 4.75' x 4.75' x 6.58' = 154 cubic feet. So for that tent you minimally want a 154 CFM inline fan (4" for most inline models). This will refresh the CO2 in the room to constantly provide enough for your plants. Then consider that the air movement fan will also assist in pulling heat out of the room, so if you are running a high wattage bulb in relationship to the size of the tent you can increase the airflow to help keep the environment cooler. With an LED grow light no additional air movement would be necessary. Avoid overdoing the air flow to save on electricity consumption, have your filter last longer, and have a quieter garden area.
Air filter - As with the air movement fan, match the CFM rating of the filter to the CFM rating of the inline fan you are using. You can purchase one from the Greners.com Fans, Ventilation, Filters page.
